Constantina Badea

I am a lecturer in Social Psychology at the University of Paris X, Nanterre. I received a European master's degree (2001) and a Ph.D. (2005), both from Paris Descartes University, France.

I have been a Research Visiting Fellow at the School of Psychology, University of Newcastle, Australia (2002), and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Exeter, UK (2006).

I work in the area of intergroup relations, including perceived group variability, optimal distinctiveness need, social identity threat, and more recently, immigrants’ acculturation strategies.
